Bobby’s Barn – Sleeps 6
A delightful Grade II listed barn conversion now transformed into a spacious and comfortable holiday cottage sleeping 6.
Only 9 miles from Southwold and 3 miles from Beccles and the Broads.
Amidst grass and clover meadows close to a meandering stream in the heart of the Waveney valley, this Grade II listed barn has been beautifully converted to create a spacious and comfortable holiday cottage ideal for friends and families. A spacious ground floor twin bedroom and cloakroom make this cottage suitable for someone with slight mobility problems.

Separated from the owners’ lovely farmhouse, Bobby’s Barn has a suntrap terrace and views over the meadows of the Waveney Valley.
Just 3 miles from the imposing tower of the ancient church at the Beccles, whose streetnames, Saltgate, Northgate, Smallgate and Hungate hint at the fortifications which once surrounded Beccles, now home to an excellent range of restaurants, shops and pubs, their Georgian facades disguising many of its ancient buildings which nestle along the banks of the lower Waveney river. Here you can explore the lovely reed-fringed waterways of southern Broadland and their abundant wildlife (boat hire is available), or cycle down its hidden green lanes and nature trails.
For those seeking some culture The Old Granary Studio, Toft Monks, Beccles is a beautiful venue where you can enjoy a variety of musical offerings, occasionally with dinner. In summer one can picnic to the lovely gardens, as well as the newly restored Fisher Theatre in Bungay, the Cut in Halesworth and the Snape Maltings Concert Hall, near Aldeburgh.

Wow! What a way to see the New Year in. The barn is beautiful and surpassed all expectations. The Tallamy’s are so helpful and friendly. We all enjoyed our time here. The beach, the golf and the fire!
Many thanks.
Absolutely fantastic! The barn is superb, especially the wonderful bathroom. This is truly the best holiday we have had. The beaches are lovely and clean. Lots to do and places to visit all within easy travelling distance.
Thank you so much.
I stayed at Bobby’s Barn for a few weeks last summer and really enjoyed it. The farm is an oasis and the Bobby’s is a lovingly re-built farm building using all traditional techniques. Beautiful views over the fields and a great base for visiting the surrounding area.
